Polygamist group in Texas home schooling their kids

If you’ve been following the news recently, you will know that the Polygamist group in Texas were home schooling their kids, and that they were to continue homeschooling in their foster homes. As the state is running out of reasons why to keep these children away from their parents, I wonder how long it will be before they attempt to make homeschooling an issue with this case! New Options for parents, alternative education for kids! Sound great right!

Should kids interact with their peers? How important is the ‘school’ to a Childs development? And why are so many parents looking to take them out in order to home school them?

Some would say that today’s parents have become too protective of their kids and accuse them of mollycoddling. Those parents would argue that modern schools are a danger to their kids upbringing with the ever increasing threat of exposure to bullying, alcohol, drugs, and bad crowds.
